On Friday, Oct. 18, 2019, thousands gathered to learn what courageous leadership looks like from nine expert women leaders. They learned that courage comes in different forms. It can be moving through your fears, staying true to yourself, owning up to your mistakes or speaking up for what you know is right despite the silence of others.
Leadercast Women 2019 equipped attendees to realize their courageous leader within, and now you and your community’s leaders can too.
“Nothing that you do that’s worth it will come without you having to confront fear. So when you see it, know it’s going to be good on the other side.”
“We’re never meant to be perfect. We were only meant to be human and to recognize our shared humanity.”
“When we make ourselves vulnerable, other respect us more. They connect with us more easily because we show them our human nature."
"Sometimes doing the brave thing is allowing everyone else to call you a wimp because you are staying true to yourself."
"Responsibility represents your duty; accountability signifies your compassion."
“Gatherings start at the moment of discovery, not the moment of entry. That moment of discovery is the moment they realize the purpose of the gathering.”
Opportunities open up when empathy is our guide.”
“We are always expecting somebody else to be Superman, but you have a red cape, too!”
